Helping children thrive as part of the Impact Together month in Guatemala

At ��ѻ��ý, our social and environmental responsibility is embedded in the commitments we have made at national, regional, and global levels. And it’s no different at ��ѻ��ý Guatemala, where we are helping to break the poverty cycle by building schools in needy areas.

As part of our CSR initiative Impact Together Month – which we have been running for several years now – colleagues in Guatemala have been building school infrastructure in poverty-stricken areas to provide children with access to education.

The classrooms also provide the children with access to clean water. The new school classrooms also serve as hubs for the community, providing a place for social and recreational activities. This helps foster a sense of pride, and improves residents’ overall quality of life.

“Even though our country is still affected by Covid-19, ��ѻ��ý Guatemala’s commitment to corporate responsibility and sustainability continues to mature” says Eduardo Castillo, Head of Intelligent Business Operations at ��ѻ��ý Guatemala. “It is supported by our values and ethics and covers each of the ESG pillars.

“In Guatemala, our mission is to use our expertise to drive positive change through technology, quality education and clean water access,” says Eduardo.

“Thanks to the efforts of more than 300 of our talented employees who volunteered for the project, we positively impacted the lives of more than 700 beneficiaries during 2022. In 2023, we will continue to be individually and collectively responsible and attentive to the communities around us, so that our passion and impact generate an echo in the entire country.”
