Michael Schulte was appointed CEO of Northern Europe in 2021, at which point he also joined the Group Executive Board.

Prior to this, Michael was Managing Director of ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½â€™s Business Unit in Germany (from 2018 to 2020) after having led the Application Services business in Germany since 2013.

Under Michael´s leadership ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ was able to aggressively gain market share and reached market leader positions both in management consulting as well as application development. In addition, he was able to position ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ as a leading brand for digital talents.

Michael has held a variety of leadership positions at ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ in both Germany and the US especially within the strategy and transformation consulting practice of the Group. He joined ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ in 1993 through Gemini Consulting, which is today known as ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ Invent.

He studied mechanical engineering at the Bochum Ruhr-University (Germany) as well as at the A&M University in Texas (US) and subsequently completed his doctorate in the field of production engineering at the University of Saarland (Germany).
