Lil’ Squirrels Preschool Toddlers
Welcome to the Acorn, Macadamia and Walnut classrooms!
We have three classrooms that are designed for our toddlers. Our Acorn room for children 12-24 months, the Macadamia room for our younger two’s, and our Walnut room for our two’s and younger three’s.
The Acorn room’s schedule is designed to fit the toddler’s individual needs as well as whole group needs. Activities for this preschool classroom include song, stories, fingerplay, snack times, outdoor play, lunch time, rest time, art activities, and other activities to develop their fine and gross motor skills. Basic sign language is incorporated into the day. Daily notes are completed for each child and sent home for the parents. Developmental milestone assessments/conferences are completed twice a year. During our curriculum hours of 9:00-3:30pm our teacher/child ratio is 1:4. We offer a 4 day or 5 day per week program for our Acorn room families.

All activities coordinate with the ZooPhonics letter of the month and with a literature piece. Bathroom breaks and potty training are scheduled into the day.
